DESCRIPTION
The HDMI over IP solution includes transmitters and receivers which can be used as point to point extenders up to 120m or when connected to a Gigabit LAN they can create a 64 x 256 HDMI matrix. Transmitters encode the HDMI source to H.264 and stream the signals across 64 available channels, selectable by push buttons, IR or web browser. Receivers then decode these channels using the same control methods.
Full duplex RS232 enables control of connected screens for volume, power etc. which is useful when used in digital signage applications. The units also provide IR pass through for controlling the source device such as DVD, SAT.
