Description

Encoding and decoding HDMI signals allows you to send, split and switch video and audio over long distances over 1G and 10G networks. Using industry standard components to create an independent local area network, you can distribute uncompressed, zero latency video at resolutions up to 4K/60hz and switch signals like any conventional video matrix. Using this method you can create virtually any size matrix and extend the signals over large areas without signal degradation.

Large professional AV installations such as stadiums and airports make good use of the many features provided with this method, including full duplex RS232, bi-directional IR and USB KVM extension. All these signals are managed and switched from a central control point using TCP/IP or RS232 and API’s are provided for connection to third party control systems such as Crestron or Control4.


The system also allows you to create video walls and multiview split screens all in the same LAN making good use of a single headend. Using simple drag and drop software icons, any source can be switched to any display within a wall or multiple sources can be segmented on a single display. With zoning and preset configurations any AV project can benefit from this professional solution and management couldn’t be easier.
